My passion for film began in a seventh-grade video production class. I had to make a video demonstrating how to do something. I half-jokingly asked if I could make one about conquering a continent, and he said that I could. In that moment, I realized that film enabled me to realize the wildest ideas swirling around in my head. I would go on to spend every free moment I had during middle and high school creating a vast catalog of web content, including a one-hundred-episode science-fiction series called Professor Proboscis. When I entered Southern Methodist University, I immediately set about getting a major in both Film and English. These majors have significantly developed my storytelling abilities, and my passion has earned me recognition. Now that I have graduated, I look forward to continuing my exploration of this art.
