Commercial for LG Washing Machine (1 Minute)
My goal for this project was to take some boring, mundane object (a washing machine) and make it interesting while still highlighting its functionality. The end result is an absurdist ad that portrays a washing machine as a trance-inducing device that helps you find the meaning of life. I wrote, directed, filmed, and acted in this ad all by myself, and as a result, it showcases my ability to independently make a compelling short story.
I was director, scriptwriter, editor, actor, cinematographer, and producer.
Music Video for Lemon Knife's "Lost at Sea" (3 Minutes)
This project began as a class assignment where I had to take a song from the Free Music Archive and create a music video to accompany it. I chose Lemon Knife’s “Lost at Sea” and decided to play with its lyrics by setting the video in space instead of in the ocean. It follows a crew of a spaceship as they head off to war, only to be set adrift and eventually die. Their sacrifice makes no difference as the cycle repeats itself. To realize this story, I made sets and characters out of cardboard and other found objects to create stylized and appropriately sci-fi visuals.

Final Chapter (6 Minutes)
This film was a semester-long endeavour in which I had to take a major project from pre-production all the way through post-production. To this end, I assembled a complete cast and crew to realize my directorial vision for this project. However, my production soon became plagued by key crew members dropping out with very short notice, and so I moved to fill their roles to ensure the film got made. This film was among my most intensive as I channeled all that I had learned into it while simultaneously working with other creatives.
I was director, scriptwriter, editor, cinematographer, and producer.
Pierre & Tantalus (6 episodes, 1 - 2 minutes)
Pierre and Tantalus are both incredibly talented marketers held captive by intergalactic super corporation Oligo. Over the course of six episodes, the duo must wrestle with their most daunting challenge yet: marketing a film about milk people. Building on the lessons I learned in making The Dread of Something, this project is another and more refined foray into the world of miniatures.

The Dread of Something (55 Minutes)
After a surprise attack, two military cadets prematurely deploy to the front lines. Unprepared, they must adapt to an ever-changing landscape and attempt to persevere despite the looming threat of destruction. This film is a feature-length passion project assembled with cardboard and hot glue that I made before taking my first college film class. It served as a vehicle for me to explore the world of miniatures and provided me with insight that I would take into subsequent projects.
